In the Shadow of Sins Lies the Key to Freedom

This work depicts a layered inner world in which human drives, sins, and desires battle each other in an almost dreamlike, dark space. At the center, a field of tension arises between oppression and liberation: a figure held captive in a force field of symbols, while “true love” functions as the key to liberation.

The image is constructed like a mental map, in which themes such as pride, lust, envy, and lethargy are depicted not literally, but visually and atmospherically. Light and dark, water and organic forms reinforce the sense of a psyche in motion—as if the painting takes place in the borderland between consciousness and the subconscious.

The key in the center functions as a moral and emotional anchor point: not judgmental, but as a possible way out of inner fragmentation.
